1. Purpose
This Fair Play Policy sets out the conduct we require from every player, team and organizer on the Virtual Esports platform. It protects the integrity of every match, result and ranking. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
2. Prohibited conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Cheating software: using hacks, mods, aim assist, scripts or any external software that gives an unfair advantage.
- Exploiting bugs: intentionally abusing game, map or platform bugs to gain an advantage.
- Smurfing and boosting: competing at a level below your actual skill, or having others play on your account to boost your standing.
- Multi-accounting: creating or using more than one account to enter the same competition multiple times or to manipulate rankings.
- Account sharing: letting another person play on your account, or playing on someone else's.
- Collusion: coordinating with other players or teams to fix outcomes, share wins or influence results unfairly.
- Result fraud: submitting false or misleading results, screenshots or match information.
- Harassment: abusive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour toward any player, team, organizer or staff member.
3. Reporting
If you believe a violation has occurred, report it to hello@virtualesport.in with the match details and any evidence. Reports are reviewed confidentially. Reporting someone falsely or maliciously is itself a violation of this policy.
4. Enforcement
Violations are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the severity and history, outcomes may include:
- Warning and corrective action.
- Voiding a match result, ranking change or prize.
- Suspension of your account for a defined period.
- Permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any balances, for serious or repeated violations.
5. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing hello@virtualesport.in within a reasonable time of the decision, explaining why you believe it was wrong. Appeals are reviewed independently.
