How to Use Virtual Esports App: The Complete Step-by-Step Guide for Gamers

Account Registration & Fast Sign-Up

Getting started on Virtual Esports takes less than 30 seconds. To guarantee secure account ownership and prevent multi-accounting, our signup process is secured by instant OTP verification.

• Open the Virtual Esports app or mobile web portal.
• Enter your valid 10-digit Indian Mobile Number or registered Email Address.
• Enter the 6-digit OTP received via SMS/Email to authenticate your account.
• Accept the Fair Play and 18+ Skill-Based Gaming terms to finalize account creation.

Complete Your Player Profile

Your profile is your esports identity. It reflects your tournament history, squad ratings, win rates, and preferred battlefield roles.

• Unique Gamer Handle: Choose an official player username that matches your esports persona.
• Avatar & Banner: Upload high-res custom squad badges or gaming avatars.
• Playstyle Role: Tag yourself as an In-Game Leader (IGL), Primary Assaulter, Support/Healer, or Sniper so potential squads can scout your profile.
• Player Bio: Highlight your past tournament achievements and team affiliations.

Identity Verification (18+ Registration)

In compliance with Government of India regulations and MeitY IT rules for skill-based gaming, competitive esports events are strictly restricted to verified adults (18+ years). Completing your identity verification locks in your real identity for organizer trust and fair-play enforcement.

• Navigate to Account > Verification & Security.
• Submit your Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN Card, or Voter ID).
• Our automated verification engine validates your date of birth and legal name within minutes.
• Your data is encrypted with enterprise-grade AES-256 protocols and is never shared with third parties.

Verify In-Game Details (BGMI Character ID & IGN)

To eliminate smurfing, ringers (unregistered pro substitutes), and scoreboard fraud, every player must bind their exact in-game character details before entering any lobby.

• Character ID (UID): Enter your 9-11 digit numeric BGMI Character ID.
• In-Game Name (IGN): Enter your exact in-game name, including special characters and font symbols.
• Screenshot Audit: Upload a screenshot of your in-game basic info profile tab. Our automated system cross-matches the text to confirm you are the true owner of the account.

Claim Your Slot in an Organizer's Scrim

Organized events run on reserved slots. Organizers publish their scrims and tournaments, and verified squads claim their places before the lobby fills up.

Create or Join an Esports Squad

Esports is a team sport. Virtual Esports provides a full-fledged roster management system that lets you build your esports brand.

• Creating a Team: Set your Squad Name (e.g., "Nova Reborn"), custom 3-letter Team Tag (e.g., "[NVR]"), and upload your official team logo.
• Inviting Teammates: Generate a secure 6-character Squad Invite Code or share a direct invite link via WhatsApp/Telegram.
• Joining a Team: If you are a free agent or your IGL already created a roster, simply enter their Team Code in the Join Squad tab to link your profile.
• Roster Roles: Squads consist of 4 active starters and up to 2 optional bench substitutes.

Browse & Join Tournaments (Squad Leader Role)

To eliminate duplicate entries and slot confusion, tournament registrations are managed exclusively by the designated Squad Leader (IGL).

• Browse the Tournaments & Scrims Hub filtered by map (Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok), format (Squad, Duo, Solo), tier, and prize pool.
• The Squad Leader clicks Register Squad and selects which 4 roster players will take the starting slots for the match.
• The system confirms that all 4 roster players have verified in-game IDs and meet the tournament rank criteria.

Flexible Registration: Leader-Led Squad Entry

Tournament registrations are handled entirely by the designated Squad Leader (IGL). The leader registers the roster and confirms each member's verified slot — no scrambling through multiple group chats.

Any entry fees are arranged directly between your squad and the event organizer outside the app — Virtual Esports never collects or handles your money.

Get Room Credentials (ID & Password)

No more waiting in unorganized Discord channels or missing room passwords.

• Exactly 15 minutes before the match start time, the custom Room ID and Password are automatically unlocked inside your Virtual Esports match center.
• Your allocated Slot Number is displayed prominently (e.g., Slot 14).
• Click Copy Credentials, open BGMI, navigate to Custom Rooms, enter the details, and take your designated slot with your team.

Play Match, Instant AI OCR Verification & Record Update

Compete with your best strategy. Once the match finishes:

• Capture Scoreboard: Take a clear screenshot of your team's end-game placement and kill summary screen.
• Upload in App: The Squad Leader or any team member uploads the screenshot into the match result tab.
• AI OCR Engine at Work: Our custom-trained AI Optical Character Recognition scans player names, placement numbers, total kills, and verifies them against the registered lobby roster in seconds.
• Verified Record: Confirmed placements and kills update your team's PR & TR record within 15 to 30 minutes, keeping standings dispute-free for every organizer.

Fair Play & In-App Hacker Reporting System

We have zero tolerance for cheaters, ESP users, wall hacks, aimbots, or teaming. If you encounter any suspicious behavior during a match:

• Click the Report Match / Hacker button inside the match lobby.
• Select the suspect player's slot or character name and attach video screen recordings or timestamps.
• The Virtual Esports Anti-Cheat Tribunal reviews the report, recorded lobby logs, and OCR-verified results. Confirmed hackers face permanent hardware IP bans and are removed from all standings and leaderboards.

24/7 In-App Support & Live Ticket System

Need help with a slot dispute, room entry issue, or registration question?

• Open Help & Support from the main app drawer.
• Create a live support ticket with your Match ID or Transaction ID.
• Our dedicated gaming operations team responds promptly via in-app live chat to resolve any questions or issues.

Organizer Ratings & Verified Standings

Every organizer you compete under builds a public reputation — and every verified result becomes official standings.

• After each match, open the Event > Rate Organizer screen.
• Rate room punctuality, slot accuracy, rule clarity, and dispute handling.
• Official standings update automatically from verified OCR results — no manual score disputes.

Your PR & TR Record, Leaderboards & Scouting

Every match you play on Virtual Esports is recorded on your permanent competitive record.

• Global & Regional Leaderboards: Track your squad's PR & TR ratings, placements, and kill stats against top teams across India.
• MVP Standings: High-fragging assaulters and clutch players compete for weekly and monthly MVP rankings.
• Tier-1 Scouting: Verified leaderboard leaders gain invitations to exclusive invitational tournaments and direct scouting trials by top esports organizations.
